Granted, this title requires a bit of elucidation. This 12th century Cistercian monastery is in the Provence region of southern France. For some reason, months after having returned from the trip, I was awake in the middle of the night and could not get the images from this abbey and others from a nearby Benedictine priory out of my mind. They begged for some deeper reference. So I decided to view these images as parables and came up with titles accordingly. What’s your take?
